What does TRAC mean to you?

Nature abhors a lie. There is no way for any being - humans included - to hide misdirection, no matter how hard we try. Telling the truth and expressing the real idea with the right words is the fundamental challenge of writing.

When we start to write something, we may want to impress a certain idea upon our audience. Getting that idea down on paper, for me, always makes me realize its imperfections, and I'm forced to choose between settling with it or correcting it. It takes conscious effort, but the latter option is one that I've always found more rewarding - it brings me closer to what I truly believe, making every writing project an investigation of myself. Whatever that is.

I joined the TRAC program because I wanted to help others have a similar experience.
