What does TRAC mean to you?

Communication is the basis of life. It is used as a channel for connecting to others, educating oneself, interacting with one’s environment, or bridging gaps between two seemingly unlike objects. Writing is one of the truest forms of communication, and personally, I believe the TRAC fellow program is set in place to enhance the ability of students to communicate. As a TRAC fellow, I would have the opportunity to facilitate other students much like myself, in not only their writing, but in their education as well. It has been a privilege to be selected for such a prestigious program and I am grateful for the chance to add to the edification of my fellow Lehigh peers. Not only will I be able to help others, but I will also be gaining unparalleled experiences. The Roman philosopher Seneca once said, “While we teach, we learn.” This statement holds true because in order to teach others, we must first attempt to master what we are teaching ourselves. By taking advantage of this opportunity, I am taking advantage of another course in the pursuit of unbounded knowledge.
