What does TRAC mean to you?

Technology, Research, And Communication: three rapidly expanding fields that are greatly impacting this day and age. Globalization, which is my main area of academic interest, is causing the world to become increasingly connected and interdependent. As this phenomenon of globalization causes the world to shrink, I find that there is shocking lack of knowledge and understanding regarding foreign nations, their cultures, and people. Technology, research, and especially communication, can help us bridge these gaps in human understanding and become a more inclusive planet. Being a TRAC Fellow allows me to use these tools via writing and empower others to do the same. Regardless of one’s major discipline, writing is a skill of great importance. I want to help other students develop their own unique artistry in writing and show them the power that can stem from something as simple as marking words on a page.
